New Book Edited by Fiona Barclay

We are delighted to announce the publication of a new collection of essays edited by Fiona Barclay, Lecturer in French Studies at Stirling. France’s Colonial Legacies: Memory, Identity and Narrative will be published by the University of Wales Press in October 2013 and it offers a timely intervention in the debates around the French empire and its place in the life of the contemporary nation. The collection draws on the expertise of researchers working in the fields of politics, media, cultural studies, literature and film, to offer a wide-ranging picture of remembrance in contemporary France.
